We have enormous respect for those who combine work with informal care. For many carers, it is a challenge to find a good balance between caring for their loved one and turning up at work. Our advice: talk to your employer about your care duties. There are often more possibilities than you might think, such as working flexible hours or taking temporary leave if necessary.
