Yoke has been a carer for pretty much her whole life. First she looked after her parents, then her husband who became seriously ill and now her brother. ‘I enjoy doing it,’ she says cheerfully. ‘It gives me a lot of satisfaction.’ She smiles. ‘Thom sometimes says: “You are worth your weight in gold”.’
